Secretary
Dorcaslove Naa Oyo Quartey is a second‑year PhD student studying Spatially Integrated Social Science (SISS) at the University of Toledo. Her research centers on Spatial Epidemiology, and she is currently researching diabetes and the social, demographic, and environmental factors that shape its distribution across the United States.
Dorcaslove is passionate about using GIS and spatial data analysis to address public health challenges, especially in communities facing health inequities. After completing my PhD, she hopes to work with organizations that apply geospatial technologies to real‑world problems, such as ESRI, the United Nations, the World Bank and related organizations.
A fun fact about her is that Dorcaslove loves cooking and enjoying Ghanaian food. She doesn’t have a single favourite dish but simply appreciates good food.
