Secretary
I am Dorcaslove Naa Oyo Quartey, a second‑year PhD student studying Spatially Integrated Social Science (SISS) at the University of Toledo. My research centers on Spatial Epidemiology, and I am currently researching diabetes and the social, demographic, and environmental factors that shape its distribution across the United States.
I am passionate about using GIS and spatial data analysis to address public health challenges, especially in communities facing health inequities. After completing my PhD, I hope to work with organisations that apply geospatial technologies to real‑world problems, such as ESRI, the United Nations, the World Bank and related organisations.
A fun fact about me is that I love cooking and enjoying Ghanaian food. I don’t have a single favourite dish; I simply appreciate good food.
